Aditi & Priyadarshini from Prayagraj Selected for the National Junior Wushu Championship 2024
Aditi Singh and Priyadarshini Yadav from Prayagraj have been selected for the 23rd National Junior Wushu Championship, to be held from July 26 to 31 at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Arasur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, after winning gold medals in the state-level Wushu competition. Both players have been training for several years under Wushu coaches Sharad Nath and S.N. Vidyarthi at the Wushu Training Academy, The Indian School of Martial Arts and Sports, located in Mumfordganj, Prayagraj. A total of 32 players selected from various weight categories across the state will participate in the national competition as part of the Uttar Pradesh team. S.N. Vidyarthi, the district secretary of the Prayagraj Wushu Association, has been appointed as the manager of the Uttar Pradesh team. Sharad Nath, the president of the district Wushu association, has provided technical guidance and extended his best wishes to the selected players for their performance in the competition.
