Ayushi and Prathmanshi from Prayagraj Selected for National Wushu Championship 2025
Two promising players from Prayagraj, Ayushi Kesharwani and Prathmanshi Yadav, have been selected for the 25th Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship. The championship will be held from May 26 to May 31 at KSR College in Tirichangod, Tamil Nadu.
Ayushi will represent Uttar Pradesh in the 39 kg weight category, while Prathmanshi will compete in the 21 kg weight category. Both players’ selection is based on their gold medal wins at the state-level championship.
Ayushi and Prathmanshi train at Veer-Veda (The Indian School Of Martial Arts and Sports) in Mumfordganj, Prayagraj, under the guidance of Wushu coaches Dr. Sharad Nath and S.N. Vidyarthi. Ayushi has previously won a silver medal at the National Wushu Championship and a bronze medal at Khelo India National. Prathmanshi is also a national-level Wushu player, ready to showcase her talent.
